Nue Art Work Project
Nue is a photographic artwork that shows wild weeds growing in urban surroundings. The image is produced as an inkjet print on cotton paper, measuring 1456 millimeters in width and 1030 millimeters in height. The digital photograph is carefully controlled in color and tone, so the result stands between photography and graphic art. Weeds are chosen as the subject because they survive in places strongly disturbed by human activity. Their uneven forms are presented as a reflection of human life. The title refers to a legendary Japanese creature of the night.
